Halloween 2007

We had a magical Halloween. The kids were so excited and it was awesome to see how happy they were. They were in love with their costumes and the idea of trick or treating. For 2 months before the big day Ben walked around saying, "I'm Ben, I'm 2, I'm gonna be Peter Pan for Halloween." Following that Disney theme, Noah was Captain Hook and Isabella was Tiger Lily (the captured Indian princess from Peter Pan). I was proud that Noah's costume was only $8 from Once Upon a Child, Ben's was $5 on eBay, and Isabella's was an Old Navy after Halloween 2006 clearance for $5. It was our cheapest Halloween and that is no small feat for this woman. They went from house to house for about 45 minutes before Noah was insisting on heading home to eat. Ben was walking around like deer in headlights thinking everything was real. Issy and Rob went to a few houses with us, but stayed back to hand out candy (he insists on being the house that hands out full size candy bars). After checking their loot Issy went to bed and the boys helped hand out candy until 8pm when trick or treating offically ended by statue of the military police. All in all, one of the best Halloweens ever. I love having kids on Halloween.

I love Rob's costume! What fun...Jake was scared by one lady who was dressed up handing candy out...he started crying and she felt so bad that she gave him extra candy!

Very cute Peter Pan as well. Thats funny you did that, because as you know Matthew was peter pan, and Jeff was captain hook, and I was supposed to be Tinker bell, but never really found my outfit.

WOW Rob - aren't you the coolest dad around - look at that costume!!! Sounds like an awesome halloween with the little musketeers, they all look adorable. Hey - and sorry about not knowing yet where you guys will be going - we'll cross our fingers that an opening comes up in Japan (the base you want to go to) - then maybe we could come visit! ;)

I LOVE Once Upon a Child. I am so sad I didn't discover that place when Brielle was a baby. I would of found so many cute things for her. Your kids are adorable in their Halloween Costumes! Next year we will have to trick or treat your way to get those full size candy bars!

They all look SO cute in their costumes! Way to bargain hunt! Impressive. Your house is the one house that we LOVED when we were little, FULL size candy bars? I would have taken Kasen to your house! lol...
