We came home from dropping Noah off at school and the kids were all excited because they found a live and dead bat in our backyard. Here's the dead one. Aren't it's long claws creepy? They usually aren't out during the day and the consensus was that he died during the lightening storm we had last night. Thankfully our neighborly, resident, stay-at-home dad, Sean, disposed of the beast. Of course this was after a science lesson about how sharp his teeth were with a hands on model. Creepy.
Another fun happening....our house has flooded once and leaked water twice. Plumbers came to the rescue when it flooded and spent all day trying to fix it yesterday. I THINK it's fixed now, but that wasn't until after they took off my toilet and put a camera in there to look for holes. See the TV?
I won these cute, homemade aprons from my friend Stephanie's blog. This is the best shot I could get with Ben taking the picture. Don't you just love the Japanese fabric?
Isabella has been begging to take dance for the last year. It just hasn't fit into our budget or schedule, but my friend Melissa is offering free ballet classes every other week during the summer. Issy was elated. She got all dolled up and struck this "ballerina pose" for me.
Kate is into EVERYTHING. Man, I hate one-year-olds for there vigor for exploration. They are certainly cute, though. Here she is ripping out every single new garbage bag we own.

Craziness, indeed! I love those aprons! Making an apron out of Japanese fabric is actually on my "to do" list. I bought a book called "A is for Apron" right before we moved here and it rocks! But 18 months later...nada! A friend of ours made me, Coree and Coree's doll matching aprons and we love them!
WOW craziness at the Kiser home for sure. so that picture of Kate looks just like Calire. i will have to agree with the 1 year olds being into everything. trent knocked a very waxy candle onto the carpet yesterday, pulled the dog food around the whole house and much more. by the way i'm getting so excited to come and see you guys!!!! still waiting on trents pass port to show up though.
love you guys.!!!
