Isabella's four years old!

Wow! She's really four. Issy, while pretty dang tough, is very girly. Yes she will play with the boys and isn't grossed out by bugs and such, but would wear a dress everyday if I let her. Right now we have an arrangement where she wears a dress one day and shorts the next. It's working pretty good. Issy wanted a few people over for a party and really wanted a pinata. Last year we really didn't have a party so I thought I'd oblige her this year. The day started off with presents from us and the grandparents. She really has the best facial expressions when opening gifts. Grandma Kiser and Justin were even online to watch her open gifts. Here she is getting 2000 yen from Grandma Catlin.

She had four girlfriends come over and they went to Cocko's! I know you're probably thinking what four year old girl has a professional pedicure party for her birthday, but they LOVED it! I'm not the only crazy one because out of the 5 girls there, only one had never been to the place before. They were in heaven. Here they are gearing up for the 5 minute drive up the road.

Who me? Yes, it's my birthday and I'm soaking my tired feet.

Now which nail art should I pick? For those of you unfamiliar with Cocko's, they paint art on your toes. Seriously. It's not considered getto and everyone does it. The kid stuff is so dang cute.

Drying the toes.

Here they are. Kaya and Issy got hearts, Danica got flowers (different color on every toe), Evelyn got watermelons and Bella got rainbows. You need to click on this to appreciate the detail.

Danica, Bella, Evelyn, Isabella and Kaya.

While we were at Cocko's Rob cleaned out our extra freezer. He chopped away enough ice to make a snowman. It was mostly melted by the time we got home, but I thought that was so cool that we had a snowman in our yard!

More great facial expressions by Issy. You never have to wonder if she loves your present.

The pinata. Rather uneventful if I do say so myself.

She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake party. I tried to "draw" a strawberry on her cake, but it wasn't quite level and totally smeared. Oh well, she was there when I drew it on so she knew it USED to look like a strawberry. She had a BLAST. Happy birthday, Isabella!

I have to say that I think Issy has to be one of the CUTEST girls I've ever known. She is so adorable! Look at her! She looks like she is having the time of her life at her party. What little girl wouldn't want to go to Cokoks and be doted on by the sweet Japanese girls. I can't believe she is four already. Give her a big hug from us. Miss you guys!
