Sweet Kate

I just thought this pic of Kate was too cute.

I've noticed that Kate has had a "kink" in her neck since birth. I didn't think much of it until I noticed that she ALWAYS looks to one side and is starting to get a flat head because of it. I had asked her doctors about it and they didn't think much of it, but eventually referred her for early intervention services with a physical therapist. The PT came out today and thought she did have torticollis. Basically her neck muscles on one side are stiff and she needs PT to work it out. So we get to have a PT come to our house once a week and work with her. They'll also teach me exercises to do with her during the week. I'm really glad that they think this will clear up in a few months of vigilant PT. Her prom date won't even be able to tell she had a flat head as an infant.
