How do you all check private blogs? The number of friends who are going private is getting ridiculous. I am in LOVE with Google Reader because I don't have to individually check that person's blog...it just lets me know when someone updates. But, it doesn't (as far as I can tell) let you put someone in with a private blog. Is there any way to follow these blogs without actually going in and checking their individual blog? Please let me know!

I am not 100% sure, but I am pretty sure there is no way to get an automatic update on private blogs. You just have to go on and check every once in a while, total pain. So, when will the baby be here??? Good luck!
Not being the most-tech-savvy person on the block I think Let The Good Times Roll is right. I end up checking the private ones individually. Most of the time I forget and don't check them for weeks! Kind of a pain...but I try and understand their need for privacy.
I completely agree that private blogs are harder to check and it annoys me too that Google reader can't check them. But we decided to change so that any patients Brad may have in his new job as a "professional" can't see what he does in his private life. We want them to think he's mature! Thanks for understanding...wish the world wasn't crazy/weird so we could just keep it public.
Oh, and I think if I don't change my web address (which I'm not going to) I think Google can still read it. It still reads Sarajane's for me.
I use bloglines and I have to check each one individually. It is a pain, and I tend to forget!
It definitely is a pain to have to check them one by one... I don't plan on going private anytime soon and I'm assuming you aren't either!!!?
