The kids have been playing with some things my parents bought for them. I just wanted to show my mom that the kids do play with the stuff they send!
This is a balancing game made of bamboo that my mom sent for Noah's 5th birthday. We babysat 9 kids (including ours) throughout the day on Saturday. Noah wanted to play this game with his friends.
These wooden, rainbow blocks were given to the kids for either Christmas or a birthday...I can't remember which. We've had them since Cleveland though. The kids play with them in spurts and it's been a favorite toy over the past few days. They pretend they are an animal or a tunnel or an obstacle course. They put all their figurines in them and turn it into a city for all their Star Wars guys. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Awww,it was so nice to open up your blog today and see these pictures! You guys are so thoughtful to think to do those kinds of things. I loved the concentration on Noah's face in the 1st one - and who's the recipient of Ben's flirty glance in the last one??
love, mom
Babysat 9 kids - You are wonder woman!!!!!!! It is so fun to get packages. And tell Rob - I loved his tooth comment on our blog regarding Lance's fall. That was totally my first thought when I saw his mouth full of blood - crap did he loose or hurt one of his precious 4 teeth!!!
oops, logged in under a weird name, it's katie.
Oh Melissa-- it's so fun to see how they grow-- and yes-- to think about our babies being 5...it's wild.
Love your blog
