On a whim, Rob told Issy and I to go to Cocok's and get pedicures today. So we did! Cocok's is a wonderful little place that does nail art.
She was a deer in headlights the whole time taking it all in.
Here she is getting help picking out what to put on her toes. The Japanese girls bowed to her every need. They brought us drinks, they fanned out books for her to read, gave her a blanket and just giggled with her.
Soaking her aching, two year old feet.
The finished product. Pumpkins and ghosts for Issy; flowers for me. (click on the image to see the detail--it's amazing!)
Mommy and Issy.
She was the most happy about getting a lollypop for the ride home. What a pampered little girl!

Way too cute. I can't wait for my girls to be old enough to get pampered together!!!
The details on Issy's toes is great, such cute little pumpkins and ghosts! Jacob would never just sit with his feet in water...he'd have to splash and make a mess, so way to go Issy!
How fun. Those are amazing toes, they do a really good job. I am looking forward to doing that with Ashlie, since she will be my only girl.
I love my pedi's. Sounds like fun!! It takes a brave girl to invite all of her readers to take an up close look at her feet, but I guess when they look like yours it's okay. I on the other hand, have a serious hate relationship with feet and would never be brave enough to share them with everyone. Haha. I know I am weird.
She's so cute Melissa! What a nice thing for Rob to do for you guys.
So that's what you get to do when you have a daughter. Hmmm....wouldn't know what that's like!
how cute isn't it so fun to have those one on ones with your kids i love it. You are so lucky to have such a girly girl Ella is a total tom boy except the fact that she loves dresses but i think its cause its less to have to think about wearing! Issy is so cute. we miss you! p.s secret patner what do you want for christmas!
Oh my goodness, that is too darling! Man, it looked like they were pretty well equipped for 2 years olds! the board books and the mini chair. Both of your feet look amazing!!! Makes me want to have a girl sometime, love the mommy/dtr date!
I love it! Magdalena & I went and got our toes done for her birthday, just the girls... The lady doing Magdalena didn't speak a lot of English, which was too bad because Magdalena peppered her with questions the entire time she painted her toes.
That is just too cute that the two of you got a pedi together! Talk about a fun girls day out! I can't wait to take Jasmine when she grows up :). I love to read your fun adventures :) - I have to agree with Alita on the feet comment. I guess I have a love/hate relationship with mine. You are brave, but again you do have nice feet... They truly are nail artists.
cute!! she's so darling. we miss you. i love that she went with pink plus the flowers... good call izzy.xoxxo brooke and claire say hello and to tell izzy that they miss her so much.
I bet she'll never wash her toes again! So adorable! I love the photo of her with her feet in the bucket, too funny!
