Well, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed. Typhoon Sinlaku is moving away and we won't get a direct hit from her. I know that I should be happy, but I was rather excited for my first typhoon. Now we'll just get some wind and rain and it'll make for a cruddy weekend. At least we won't be on lockdown. There are still 2 more months in typhoon season.

I love big storms even tho' they are dangerous. . . I just love how you have to make things work so the kids have fun instead of get scared.
As for Space A. . . feb/mar is the perfect time to travel. . . you have a better chance of not getting stuck somewhere. And if your hubby goes with you you'll be a higher priority of getting on a flight (category 3 rather than 4). I hear to answer any questions if you should have any.
I'm glad you and your family are safe!
We went through 2 Typhoons while we lived in Okinawa. Of course Mia was born in the first one and then the 2nd one was Super Typhoon Bart. Winds were clocked at 198. CRAZY!!! We never even lost electricity living off base. Of course we only had one channel but we didn't loose that!! There was only minimal damage. The most was caused from flying debree from everyone's patios. The car next to ours was damaged by the debree but ours was fine. Stay safe and we miss you all very much. Mia was talking about the kids the other day about missing them on the playground especially Isabella!!!
You missed your Typhoon but we sure didn't miss our hurricane Ike! Ha!Ha! I shouldn't be laughing because it really isn't funny to be without electricity in hot Houston Texas... I'm not sure if it made the Japanese news but we got hit pretty hard in Houston. We are still having a "hurrication" (impromptu vacation caused by a hurricane hit) in Dallas at my in laws. I can't wait to get back home though.
