I know....there are too many pictures with just about every post I do. Tuff. It's my blog and I can do what I want. That being said, here are some more pics. We discovered yet another little restaurant called Gordies. It's actually a hamburger joint. It only has hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, onion rings and fries...oh, and beer for those of you that are into that sort of thing. I had a terrikaki burger and Rob had a BLT hamburger. Both were divine. It is run by a husband/wife team that look younger than me. I love it and plan to go back soon. Almost across the street the kids didn't miss a beat noticing the playground by the seawall. Of course we had to mosey over there after our meal. There are basically no safety standards for the playgrounds here which makes them VERY fun. There's a zip line at almost every one and this was no exception. The sun was setting and it was just really nice family time. Life doesn't get much better than this.
Soup and fries with every hamburger.
Two thumbs way up!
When did Noah start looking so big? He looks so old to me in this picture.
The two cutest brothers ever.
Aren't we a darling couple?
PS-I'm writing this just after I put the kids to bed. I hate it if they get up after I put them down. Before I went upstairs to tell them to settle down "OR ELSE" I had to think of a good threat. So this is what I came up with:
Mom: If I have to come back upstairs because you guys are making noise/goofing off then I'm going to make you stand outside when the typhoon hits.
Noah/Ben: NO!!!!
Noah: So if we stay in our beds, then we can stay inside when the typhoon comes?
Mom: Yes, but only if you stay in your bed and I don't have to come upstairs again.
Ahhhh...it's been 20 minutes and I haven't heard a peep from them. Am I a horrible mother or what?

There's no such thing as too many pictures on your blog............
love, mom
I agree with Mama C - never too many pictures.
Noah does look grown-up. There is something about his face that seems to have changed since we last saw you guys.
You and Rob both look fantastic!
I love hearing the stories from over there!
(And the whole typhoon threat is one of the funniest things I've read all week!! Whatever works, right?)
too funny i am full of threats too it's laways horrible if her favoite toy has to go in time out instead of her hehehe. The burgers are making me hungry yummy. all your kids look so much older it looks liek your havign so much fun i wonder if you'll ever come back! love ya glad your home Rob love you
First off- those burgers look SO tasty! Apparently I'm hungry! I agree, Noah looks so old in that picture! His face has changed. Those are some good action shots of the boys on the zipline thingy. How are you so tan? I am so jealous!
I'm so jealous that you guys are in Okinawa. . . I wanna be stationed there!!!! We're still in Utah. . . 5 years now stationed here. . . I wouldn't mind facing a typhoon, I'm from Hawaii what can I say.
loves and kisses,
Fuchi

Oh I never thought of using the typhoon as a discipline tool - Thanks! LOL!
sometimes a mom has to do what a mom has to do...and i'm in agreement that it really stinks when they get up after you've put them to bed. i don't know about you, but my patience is also put to bed at 7:30.
I love the park pics and you totally made my mouth water with your burger pics. I'm going to have to make them this weekend!
I'm sorry, I guess, about the typhoon, but so glad that you won't have to worry....yet!
We LOVE Gordies too (not good that I can walk to it from our home in 4 minutes)! The absolute best burger on the planet is their teriyaki burger...YUM!
I haven't checked up on your family for a long time - your life definitely looks exciting, and I can't believe how old your kids are, they are so cute. You look great too by the way. I"m glad you are loving Japan, sorry there's no hurricane to make your weekend more exciting - maybe next time.
I love the dialogue! I know what it feels like to run out of ideas for effective threats, I usualy run out of ideas by noon ha!ha!
I love the pictures too!
