That is so funny! You know I do the same thing though. One of my biggest challenges as a mom is learning how to give my kids choices and learning how to relinquish the control that I am used to having when they are little tykes and can't make choices. I miss the days when I could dress Malia in what I wanted her to wear and do her hair how I wanted it done. Oh well. At least she still listens to my opinion, even if she doesn't always do what I think she should. What will I do when she doesn't even listen?
I loved it! So Funny! Definitely something that Dylan would be familiar with! We loved the Christmas card we got- thanks- your family is so cute! Hope your enjoying you Cali weather! Cleveland is very snowy and cold- bet you wish you could be here huh? :)
Melissa, this is hysterical! Just got your comment on my blog, and thank you! My hubby was stationed at Pendleton & Miramar before we moved here to Oki. I loved San Diego. I never lived on base, but I will tell you that the camaraderie here will be equal to or better than in the states; every American here is somehow related to military, I've never seen so many children, and it's just amazing how quickly we all bond! You'll love it. Do you know if you want to live on or off base?
Also - Google Reader is the ONLY way to fly... and if 30 is "officially old" I think I might have to take issue with that... :)

That is hilarious! That word is like glue to them- no matter how many times you say yes the no always sticks.
It was so good to see you guys! Only wish we could do it every weekend - not to mention a bowling adventure or two!
