Funny stuff the kids have said--
Ben: Where do I live?
Mommy: What do you mean? Do you mean Okinawa? Japan? Old Lester? Camp Lester? 6114B? PSC 557 Box 1842 FPO, AP 96379?
Ben: NOOOOO! I mean where do I LIVE?
Mommy: Do you mean that you're an American? Do you mean by the ocean? on an island?
Ben: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Where did I come out of your belly?
Mommy: Cleveland, Ohio
Ben: No, that's not it.
Mommy: I'm pretty sure that's it.
Ben: I mean, yeah, that's it. Cleveland, Ohio.
Poor kid has moved around so much that he doesn't know where to call home.
Isabella praying the other night--
Isabella: .....and please bless the boys that they won't bug me tomorrow....
Oh, there are so many funny things they say everyday. I really should write them down better. I will try to on here because I know that I'm no good updating their baby books.
I've been taking a poll on my Facebook page, (but in case you don't look at it) where Rob and I should spend the next 50 years. Things are still very much up in the air, but IF (big if) we get out of the military in just over 1 year where should we set up shop? Does anyone have any suggestions? I like the no winter weather we've had for the last 3 years. Utah calls us for so many reasons, but I've heard it's hard to make it as a dentist there. Where, where, where??????? Please give us your two cents.

Carrie's Utah Soapbox: Not only is it hard to make it as a dentist there...unless you are from there and are used to it, it's hard to be from someplace else and move there. And don't just take my word for it...the majority of the people I've talked to (in my own "scientific" poll) that have been in a similar situation (moving there from someplace else, expecting some sort of Utopia) say the same thing. It's just an entirely different sociological experience, and I'll leave it at that. As much as we love going there for Conference every year and sometimes in the summer...I don't know that I could ever live there again and not go a little crazy. Much to Cliff's dismay because he thinks it would be wonderful...but he's only set up hunting camps there...and gone on vacation with me...he hasn't experienced living there. After living there for 5 years...I actually joined the NAVY to get out! Talk about desperation! (heehee) ;^)
After living in Cali and Phoenix for four years, it is rough being back in Utah with the cold weather. Seriously, I despise the cold. However, being by family is really great. What about Phoenix, it is an incredible city, we loved it! And plus, you can get super cheap tickets back home to Utah.
santa cruz!!!perfect weather all year.
Seattle. Theres should be no other options.
