Chinese garden

We went to these sweet Chinese gardens in the middle of downtown Naha on Saturday with our friends the Petrini's. Oh, but first we also went to the Sesame Street production that came to Okinawa for FREE. We had to wait in line for about an hour, but it was a nice day and the kids just climbed trees and ran around while we waited outside. The show was only a 1/2 hour which is good because I don't think I could have taken much more of Elmo.











The Japanese always have these random translations on things. Is this just a public service announcement?

You may wonder why Kate is crying in this picture. Well, when people ask her why she has a twitch when she's older she can say she was dropped as a baby. Yeah, she fell off this little piece of playground equipment. Poor girl. I won't tell you which parent was supposed to be watching her.
