I thought this was so cute. I took the boys for their very first eye doctor appointment today. I thought they might be scared so we practiced what the doctor would do and they were great! The loved "guessing" what the picture on the chart was and following the light. The doctor was super nice and reminded me of Great Grandpa Kiser. The kids felt right at home. He said they both had 20/20 vision, but only with both eyes together. He thinks Noah may need some correction in a year and Ben in a couple of years. Dang...I was hoping they would have Rob's perfect vision without correction. I wear a -7.0 contact so I'm basically blind as a bat without correction. For now, they are good to go.

I love that he has a "weapon" just in case the old man scared him.
I'm jealous he's wearing shorts:)
What a good idea, taking your camera along! It does make for a super cute memory.
I agree with Millie! Cute idea to bring a camera. I'm glad that for the meantime they are good to go. Hopefully something miraculous will happen and neither of them will have to have correction.
This is about Noah and going to school. You'll be in Japan and that might mean there won't be a preschool to go to off base and you might not be able to get him into the one on base. They laughed at Aaron when we first got here and asked about getting Eliza into the preschool on base. They give priority to E5 and lower and then to the higher ranking. Also if you do get him into the preschool, be prepared to pay around $200 a month, if not more. I don't know what would be best, but he might be okay seeing as he's the oldest with younger sibling close in age. I think that tends to make them grow up a bit faster. Hope this helps.
That is cute. I think I need to go visit the eye doc. I have never really been checked. Who knows what my eyes are up too.
